As part of urbadigital’s commitment to social responsibility, we have actively collaborated with the Fundación San Francisco Global (SFG), a non-profit organization dedicated to leveraging technology for social good. Our joint efforts have focused on initiatives that seek productive, commercial, collaborative, and innovation development for vulnerable groups and different cities across Ecuador. This partnership is focused on SFG’s key pillars of management:

• Technology-Based Projects: Supporting the development of digital platforms and fostering access to open data and information to promote transparency and citizen participation.
• Innovation: Promoting a participatory and collective construction approach, utilizing open, public, and social innovation methodologies and tools.
• Featured Collaborative Projects: Through our partnership with the San Francisco Global Foundation, urbadigital has supported social initiatives to foster innovation and management in Ecuador. These projects serve as vital tools to drive social change through technology and open data:
  
  

  • Thinkia – Innovation Laboratory: A platform that manages the innovation ecosystem of Ecuador.
  • Colaboratorio Ciudadano – Collaborative Laboratory: A platform that allowed the management of donations, including ashangas (traditional bundles) and masks, and e-commerce for indigenous communities in Ecuador during the COVID-19 pandemic.
    
  • Innovation Index (Índice de Innovación): A project focused on measuring, analyzing, and driving innovation indicators within the country.
  • Open Government (Gobierno Abierto): Development of tools designed to promote transparency, citizen collaboration, and direct participation in government processes.
  • Open Data (Datos Abiertos): Initiatives focused on increasing public access to essential data and open information.
  • Innovation Laboratory (Laboratorio de Innovación): Programs aimed at generating, promoting, and evaluating development ideas and fostering creativity and leadership.
